DSWSA offers a variety of programs at Undergraduate and Post graduate level. The Post graduate programs include MA, PhD and Certificate courses.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE TRAINING:

To meet emerging needs in the field and enable continuous learning, we currently run a professional child protection training program. It is a five week program that takes place on weekends. The course targets professionals working with children in government departments such as the judiciary, police, community development, child welfare, health providers);

Managers and Project Officers working at Civil Society Organisations and Faith Based Organizations; Officials charged with cooperate social responsibility and mainstreaming
child protection issues in their work in the Private Sector.

We apply a range of adult learning approaches during class room interaction with our trainees, which are highly participatory and focused on building specific competencies. This is complemented with field work practicum. At the end of the training, Students are awarded a professional certificate in child protection.
